Helping Hand

Last Saturday afternoon, 35 year 12 students from Sunshine Coast Grammar School, taking part in their community Helping Hands program, donated their time to carrying out some much-needed cleaning and painting work at our club. The students together with their Principal, Pastor and teachers Kerry Corcoran, Georgie Richardson and Ben Princehorn (Mets Nipper parent and Lifesaver) cleaned and oiled the front porch area of the clubhouse, painted a great Mets sign on the old clothing store, painted the clothing room door in the club colours, cleaned and painted floor and other areas in the nipper canteen and cleaned and repainted all the nipper area tables in our club colours.

The students with the support of their teachers did a wonderful job and on behalf of Mets SLSC, I thanked them for their generosity. Below are a couple of pictures showing the result of their hard work.
