Sponsorship is a powerful way to align your business with one of the most iconic and marketable brands in Australia, the red and yellow army. At a local level, your sponsorship also aligns your business with one of the longest serving and admired Sunshine Coast community groups, Metropolitan Surf Life Saving Club, the mighty red, white, and blue!
Our Club’s future and the community’s safety relies upon the generosity of our sponsors.
We urge you to consider one of our Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze sponsorship packages. Please call the Lifesaving Office for more information on (07) 5491 8418 (Option 3).
Bequeaths and donations of cash, and products are welcomed to help our Club offset the purchase of new first aid and rescue equipment and the cost of training and educating our volunteer lifesavers. Donations are tax deductible.
For local businesses, this could be as little as donating prizes for our Friday evening and Saturday afternoon raffles, during the volunteer lifesaving season, at the Supporters Club.
Should you be interested in supporting our Club, please contact the Lifesaving Office on admin@caloundrasurfclub.com.au. Saving lives cost money. As little as $20 can help save a life.
Please help our Club by purchasing a ticket in the Surf Lottery. You could change your life by winning a luxury home, cars, and gold bullion!
Tickets are only $2. 50% of every ticket purchased via this page goes directly to the Metropolitan Caloundra Surf Life Saving Club to sustain our volunteer lifesaving services.
Whether you are a seasoned veteran or a newcomer to surf lifesaving, we offer a variety of pathways and programs to help you achieve your goals, develop your skills, and make a positive impact to your community.
If you want to wear the ‘red and yellow’ but are not confident in the water, we still need you! Land-based roles such as Observer, Radio Operator, and First Aid Operator are required by our volunteer patrol teams.
Surf lifesaving is an environment where anyone can thrive! Many of our Mets volunteers begin Club life as a parent or grandparent of a nipper and go on to become valued members.
You can give back to your community on terms that suit you, be part of one of Australia’s most iconic brands, and show your kids / grandkids what life can be like as part of the red and yellow army.
There are many ways that you can get involved at Mets depending on your skill set such as administrative roles, volunteering on committees and the Board of Directors, surf sports support roles, nipper support roles, BBQ team, gear and facilities maintenance, and training and education roles.
Should you be interested in getting involved in our Club for the benefit of your community, please contact the Lifesaving Office on admin@caloundrasurfclub.com.au.
Our Club has the following facilities available for hire by surf lifesaving clubs, community groups, and businesses.
Our facilities are located just steps from Kings Beach and the Ocean Pool with direct access to our Supporters’ Club, the Kings Beach Surf Club, where you are welcomed to enjoy drinks, dining, gaming, and entertainment, served by our friendly staff, whilst overlooking one of the best views on the Sunshine Coast. Alternatively, enjoy coffee and refreshments at the adjacent heritage-listed Pavilion Cafe.
All enquiries relative to Facility Hire can be made by contacting the Lifesaving Office on admin@caloundrasurfclub.com.au.
Current financial Members can book use of the dormitories in accordance with the Dormitory and Clubhouse Policy included in the Members’ Area.
The Sunshine Coast Regional Council has provided a Beach Wheelchair for use by the public at Kings Beach during the volunteer lifesaving season (late September through to early May). The Beach Wheelchair is stored at the Kings Beach Lifeguard Tower.
Use of the Beach Wheelchair is only possible after completion of the Beach Wheelchair Booking Form per the link below.
Once the Beach Wheelchair Booking Form has been completed, please approach the volunteer lifesavers on duty for assistance.
We all love a day at the beach, but the surf can be unpredictable.
That’s why our lifesavers use the red and yellow flags to show you the safe area to swim.
We are always here to help you to enjoy and stay safe at our beautiful Kings Beach and surrounding beaches.
