Mets Takes Home Trifecta at SLS Youth Ball

The Sunshine Coast Surf Lifesaving Youth Ball was held on Saturday night, an event which celebrated the outstanding achievements of the youth members of our organisation.  Metropolitan Caloundra had three nominations across the five awards of the evening and we are very proud to say that all three young men nominated were successful and took home their respective awards.

Matt Magnussen was named Junior Athlete of the year, as the most consistent junior athlete based on participation and results at Surf Spots events in the 2017/18 season. Noah Richards took home the Under 14 Junior Lifesaver of the Year award for his outstanding lifesaving efforts and contributions. And Charlie Punter was awarded the Paul Egan Memorial Shield for the most outstanding cadet of the year.

It is great to see Mets so well represented at Branch events and the club is very proud of these young men for their outstanding conduct and dedication to Lifesaving and congratulate them on their amazing achievements!
