October Member of the Month kindly supported by @caloundravision is awarded to Loren.

Loren has been instrumental in the role of canteen coordinator. She was also the chief organiser for the Halloween social function, going to a lot of effort to plan the event decorate and ensure a fun night was had by all. With our second club swim, for culture Saturdays having recently been run, Loren worked hard behind the scenes to put on a great breakfast for all the participants, Lifesavers are very much incentivised by food so this was very much appreciated by all. To top all this off Loren along with husband Jas, lead the charge with our annual fundraising appeal; raising vital funds for the club; as well as hosting some mini fundraisers for SLSQ’s involvement with Day for Daniel.

Met Caloundra SLSC would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mclean Henzell from Henzell Property Group, a long-time supporter and active member of our club.

Mclean generously provides each patrolling member with a t-shirt to wear before patrol, helping our team represent the club with pride and unity. When patrol commences, members then change into their iconic red and yellow uniforms to keep our beaches safe.
